So, Oprah Winfrey visited Cornell in March… and the purpose was to witness her South African Leadership Academy for Girls in action. She also happened to give one of the most remarkable compliments that I’ve ever heard of… She told a student of ours that he “gave her hope for the future.” Well, our Model UN delegate, Gabe Sturziou, was quite amazed at her reaction. So we wanted to thank her and send her some of our books… ya know? Just in case her South African School could used them. Since she showed up once… maybe she’ll show up on the circuit again!!
